What experience and skills will you gain?
Over the course of 24 months, you’ll combine hands-on experience in the workplace with academic study at college (typically one day per week). You’ll gain:

Knowledge of health and safety, quality control, and regulatory requirements (e.g. GMP, COSHH).

Core scientific understanding including chemistry, biology, statistics and genetics
- Practical lab skills such as weighing, pipetting, chromatography, spectroscopy, and sample analysis.
*Competence in using laboratory equipment and instrumentation, including calibration and maintenance

Confidence in using Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), Microsoft Office, and data presentation tools.
