London South Bank Technical College - Nine Elms Campus

The London South Bank Technical College (LSBTC) features the Digital Spine, providing students with access to digital resources, study spaces and learning support throughout the building.

The Digital Spine Library is located on the second floor in Room A02.22, where students can access books and electronic resources for study and research. A dedicated quiet study room is also available on this floor.

Desktop computer rooms are available on the 6th floor (Room A06.10) and 8th floor (Room A08.10), with additional flexible study spaces located throughout the building.

The Digital Spine team can support students with library enquiries, IT support, finding learning resources, accessing college systems, and developing research and study skills. Self-service machines are available for borrowing and returning books, while Multi-Function Devices (MFDs) can be used for printing, scanning and photocopying.

Students receive £5 of printing credit each term in September, January and April, with additional credit available from the Print Credit Kiosk. [Confirm which students this applies to before publishing.]

Students can borrow up to six books at a time for a standard loan period of three weeks. Loans are automatically renewed unless another student has requested the item.

Headphones are available to borrow for use during the day and must be returned at least 15 minutes before closing at 5.00pm. Laptops are also available for on-site day use within Digital Spine rooms and must be returned by 4.00pm.

The Digital Spine team is available to help if you have questions about borrowing resources, accessing digital facilities or finding a suitable space to study.
