September is always one of the most exciting times of the year at South Bank Colleges, as our campuses in Clapham, Nine Elms, and Brixton come alive with energy, curiosity, and new possibilities.
This week, we are delighted to welcome both new and returning students as the new term begins. For many, it is the start of a brand-new journey — a chance to explore subjects, build skills, and take the first steps towards future careers. For others, it is a return to familiar classrooms, friends, and lecturers, ready to build on the progress already made.
Our three campuses are ready to support every student:
- Clapham (Lambeth College): A gateway to a wide range of courses, where learners take their first steps in vocational education, creative subjects, and more.
- Brixton (Lambeth College): A centre of community learning, with a focus on Adult ESOL courses and support for local learners.
- Nine Elms (London South Bank Technical College): A hub for technical and STEAM subjects, offering state-of-the-art facilities and expert teaching.
Beyond the classroom, students can look forward to vibrant campus life. Each site has welcoming social spaces and canteens serving affordable, tasty food and drinks — perfect for meeting new friends, taking a break between lessons, or fuelling up for study sessions.
Whether students are studying for a T Level, BTEC, apprenticeship, or GCSEs, this term marks the beginning of fresh opportunities to succeed, grow, and discover new passions.
We know the start of term can feel both exciting and a little overwhelming. That’s why our staff teams are here to guide, encourage, and ensure every learner settles in well. From careers advice and student support services to libraries and study spaces, there are resources in place to help students make the most of their time with us.
South Bank Colleges is proud to serve the vibrant communities of South London, and this new academic year promises to be full of achievements, creativity, and inspiring stories.
Welcome to the new term — we cannot wait to see all that will be accomplished.
