South Bank Colleges is celebrating the achievements of learners from Business, Engineering and Maths who have been recognised through the Jack Petchey Achievement Awards.

The awards celebrate young people who have demonstrated commitment, resilience, leadership and achievement throughout their time at College. This year’s winners have each made their mark in different ways, from academic accomplishments to supporting their fellow learners and taking on new challenges.
Among the achievements being recognised are learners who have represented South Bank Colleges at the national finals of the FE Maths Challenge, as well as those who have taken on roles as Student Ambassadors and Career Champions.
These roles reflect the contribution learners make beyond their studies. By getting involved in College life, supporting others and taking on additional responsibilities, they are helping to create a positive community for their fellow students.
The awards also recognise the personal journeys behind each achievement. For some learners, their time at South Bank Colleges has been about building confidence, overcoming challenges and making significant progress in their studies.
Their achievements demonstrate that success is not only measured through academic results. Personal growth, determination, leadership and the willingness to support others are all important parts of a learner’s journey.
The Jack Petchey Achievement Awards provide an opportunity to recognise these achievements and celebrate the individuals behind them.
Congratulations to all of this year’s Jack Petchey Achievement Award winners. South Bank Colleges is proud to recognise their hard work and looks forward to seeing their continued progress and future achievements.
