As September begins, T Level student Javier is looking ahead to an important milestone in his college journey: the final year of his L3 T Level in Design, Planning and Surveying at London South Bank Technical College.

Having already completed a year of the course, Javier and two of his classmates have started preparing early for the year ahead, using the beginning of the new academic year as an opportunity to revisit their learning and get ahead with their revision.

The start of the final year marks an exciting stage in their studies. With a strong foundation of knowledge and experience already developed, Javier and his classmates can now build on what they have learned and continue developing the skills needed for progression into the built environment sector.

The L3 T Level in Design, Planning and Surveying provides students with the opportunity to develop knowledge and practical skills relevant to careers across the construction and built environment industries. Alongside classroom learning, T Levels give students valuable experience of the workplace, helping them understand how their skills can be applied in real working environments.

For Javier, beginning his second year is a chance to reflect on how much he has progressed since starting the course, while looking ahead to the opportunities still to come.

With preparation already underway, the new academic year is off to a positive start for Javier and his fellow students as they work towards completing their T Level and taking their next steps beyond college.
