Students from South Bank Colleges recently had the opportunity to step beyond the classroom and explore the role of engineering in society at a special event held at the House of Lords.
The students attended the All Party Parliamentary Engineering Group lunch, supported by COWI, where they took part in discussions exploring engineering space applications and the ways engineering can contribute to society.
