South Bank Colleges proudly took part in the T Level Conference at County Hall in London, showcasing the achievements and experiences of our talented T Level students. The event brought together educators, industry professionals, and students from across the country to discuss the impact of T Level qualifications, technical education, and career pathways for young people.
The conference provided a fantastic opportunity for our students to network with teachers and staff from other schools and colleges, helping them build confidence, communication skills, and valuable professional connections. Events like this highlight the growing importance of T Level programmes in preparing students for real careers through technical learning and industry placements.

Our students also had the chance to share their personal experiences of studying T Level courses, speaking enthusiastically about how the programme is helping them develop the practical skills, industry knowledge, and confidence needed to succeed in their chosen career pathways.
One of our students, Javier, played an important role in supporting the event and speaking about his journey studying a T Level. Reflecting on the experience, he shared:
“Last Friday, I attended a T Level conference at County Hall in London, where I had the opportunity to speak with nearly 300 teachers from across the country about my experience studying a T Level course. During the event, I shared how the programme has significantly benefited me by helping me develop the knowledge, skills, and practical understanding required to pursue my ambition of becoming a professional surveyor.
It was a valuable experience to discuss my journey and highlight how T Levels can support students in progressing towards their chosen careers. From my personal experience, I believe T Level courses are very valuable because they offer students a new way to begin their journey into the business world, while helping them build the practical skills and knowledge needed for future careers.”
We are incredibly proud of all the students who represented South Bank Colleges so positively at the conference. Their confidence, ambition, and professionalism demonstrate how T Level qualifications are helping shape the future workforce by bridging education and industry.
