We were delighted to welcome the Society of Public Health Engineers (SoPHE) and CIBSE Young Engineers Network (YEN) to our Nine Elms campus, LSBTC, for an exciting and engaging competition. This event brought together young engineers and our students in a series of challenging tasks designed to test their knowledge and skills within the building services industries.
The competition fostered collaboration and practical learning as teams were paired up to tackle real-world problems, showcasing innovation and technical expertise. It was inspiring to see the enthusiasm and determination from all participants, including students from Waltham Forest College, who joined us to make the event even more competitive and enriching.
A big thank you to all the members of the Institution of Water and Gas (IWG) who came along to support and encourage the teams throughout the day. Your presence made a real difference and added to the positive atmosphere of the event.
We look forward to hearing who the winners will be at the SoPHE annual dinner this November. Congratulations to everyone who took part – your hard work and commitment are truly commendable. Here’s to many more opportunities to learn, grow, and connect within the building services community!
