The final donation box for Jamaica has now been completed, marking another meaningful moment in the college effort to support communities affected by the recent hurricane. Staff and students have worked together over the past weeks to gather essential items, and today the last of the contributions were carefully packed and prepared for delivery.

The principal of Lambeth College, Monica Marongiu, played a hands on role in finishing the final packing, ensuring that every item was sorted, secured and ready for transport. Her support reflects the strong sense of unity across the college during this appeal and highlights the shared commitment to extending help beyond the campus.
Once the box was sealed and ready, it was taken to the JN Bank branch on Stockwell Road, which has been acting as a collection site for donations heading to Jamaica. The college nursery's manager, Pamela Hammond, met with the JN Bank staff at the drop off point and received warm thanks for the college contribution. Staff expressed their appreciation for the continued support and the steady flow of aid that will benefit families rebuilding their daily lives.

The completion of this final box brings the college donation effort to a positive close, showing what can be achieved when a community comes together with kindness and purpose. A sincere thank you goes out to everyone who donated, packed or promoted the appeal. Your generosity will travel far and make a real difference.
